Child safety standards

SmartPipla is for people aged 18 and over. We do not allow anyone under 18 to hold an account. If we learn that an account belongs to someone under 18, we remove it.

The following is banned everywhere in SmartPipla, including posts, comments, likes, profile information and private messages:

• Child sexual abuse material (CSAM), including images, video, audio, text or links that show or promote the sexual abuse or exploitation of a child.
• Grooming, meaning any attempt to build contact with a child in order to sexually abuse or exploit them.
• Sexualizing children in any form, including sexual comments about minors.
• Sextortion, meaning threatening or pressuring a minor for sexual content or favours.
• Asking for, sharing, trading, advertising or linking to any of the above.
• Trafficking of children for sexual purposes.

You can report content or a user directly inside the app. Use the Report option on posts, comments, messages and user profiles. Reports are reviewed, and reports about child safety are treated as the highest priority.

• We remove the content as soon as we confirm it.
• We suspend or permanently ban the accounts involved, and we do not restore accounts banned for CSAE.
• We keep the information needed for an investigation, and we report confirmed CSAM and child exploitation to the relevant authorities, such as law enforcement and, where applicable, the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC).
• We cooperate with lawful requests from law enforcement investigating crimes against children.

SmartPipla complies with the child safety and child protection laws that apply to it. We review our practices as the law and our app change, and we update this page when they do.
